Today I managed to run my first robotics club meeting (the ones at the end of last year after the seniors graduated don't count because everyone knew what they were supposed to be doing). It seemed to go pretty well. We had a really good turnout. Somewhere around 25-30 people. So after people drop out and some people come who couldn't make this one we should hopefully be able to settle somewhere in the upper teens to 20 people that we want. Hopefully it will be a good year.
Today at fencing practice I managed to break my one really old really bad epee. Now I have an excuse to buy (meaning get my parents to buy) me a good epee as neither of my other ones are very good either. And I was fencing really well in practice today. So life is good.

And I think I'm going to inherit a co-presidency next year. Which is like bad, since I'm really not competent enough. Like the year before last year I hardly did anything at all, and last year I did a bit more but only came to like a third of the meetings during build season. Not very committed. Well hopefully the other co-president will make up for my slack. And I don't know how I will find time to run robotics next year, given my insane amount of stuff to do this year.
